Vincent: Bravo, you two. I was impressed. But... if what you're doing was on the justified self-defense plea, then you would have won. But you stuck with the not guilty plea, correct?
Apollo: !! *thinks: Oh crap!*
Phoenix: !? *thinks: We forgot all about it!*
Vincent: Your Honor.
Teacher: The prosecution does have a strong point. I'm sorry Mr. Shinri, but you have put in all your efforts. But... if you were pleading in justified self-defense..
Apollo: *thinks: No! I can't give up now! I had to do something!*
Phoenix: *memory flashes to when she woke up by a noise during 4:00 AM* !
Apollo: *looks at her*
Phoenix: *looks at him* ... Some shatter noises woke me up at 4:00 AM, and then I heard footsteps. When I came out to check, I saw a trail of blood following its way.. To your room.
Apollo: A trail of blood? That doesn't seem right. It's like saying the victim walked out of the room. *thinks* Hold on.
Phoenix: Well yeah, I was wondering if that would help us by any chance, so..
Apollo: *looks at the Map Layout* ...... Strange. There's no blood trail in my room. Yet the detective drew the blood around the corpse.
Phoenix: Eh?
Teacher: If the defense has no more objections to give, then I shall give my verdict.
Apollo: HOLD IT!!! Something is not right. I want everyone to look at the Map Layout.
Vincent: Why waste our time? All I can see is the corpse and his blood.
Apollo: Exactly.
Vincent: ?
Apollo: There should be a blood trail made from the killer, due to the big pool of blood.
Vincent: *flinches then leans on his desk, clenching his teeth* Bloody hell.
Phoenix: *whistles*
Apollo: If there were no footprints in my room from the blood pool, how can we be sure if I'm the killer? More importantly, if there was a killer.
Vincent: *sweats* Are you saying this was a suicide?
Apollo: No. But this proves my point of June May being the killer. Think about it, why waste her time walking all the way to the West Side Residence Hall and kill the victim? Both residence halls are 20 minutes apart. If she were to walk there, the victim would have left the room early.
Vincent: *slams his hand on his desk* So what is your theory, novice? *points at him* How did she kill the victim?
Apollo: *grins* The windows.
Vincent: ?
Phoenix: ?
Apollo: The windows weren't inspected from the investigation. Luckily, I checked them out. My window was surprisingly opened. So was Miss May's.
Vincent: Saying it verbally does not prove that she killed the victim throughout the window panels.
Apollo: Au contraire. *shows photos of fingerprints on the windows* I have pictures.
Vincent: *flinches hard*
Apollo: The windowsill of May's room has fingerprints matching to Miss May herself.
June: !
Apollo: And the prints on the other... *points hard at May* also hers!!
Phoenix: *snaps fingers* So that means she climbed from one window to another! That's the quickest way to get into the room.
Apollo: Exactly. There is no doubt about that. *points hard at June May* She killed Mr. Tundra!
Phoenix: *does the same* AND she eavesdropped Apollo's phone call and framed him in this case!
June: N-No! I-I couldn't..... I.... Uwaaaaaaaahhhh!!! *tears falls out*
Apollo: *thinks: Everyone is now seeing the real June May. A killer.*
Vincent: ......
Judge: It seems the defense has reveal another discovery. So, it has come to me to declare the verdict. *raises her gavel*
Vincent: Objection! *taps his forehead and smirks* Bravo. Bra-vo.
Apollo: !
Vincent: That... was some impressive deduction. Really, I am. You have uncover the truth that good. I have never seen such hard thinking before.
Apollo: *thinks: Why is he praising me?...*
Phoenix: *thinks: OK, now what else are you having in mind, prosecutor?...*
Vincent: There is one thing that's bothering me...
Apollo: And what's that?
Vincent: The murder weapon.
Apollo: The murder weapon?
Vincent: Yes. The pen. The fingerprints only has yours on it. Not Miss May's.
Apollo: ......... !!
Phoenix: !! *thinks: Hell no!!*
Vincent: If Miss May's fingerprints were on the pen, you would won. But... they were not. Yes, your theory is compelling. But the murder weapon is also considered important. Whoever touched the pen is the killer.
Apollo: What if she wore a glove?
Vincent: Impossible. If one would wear a glove, it would smear the blood off, indicting that someone did indeed handled it.
Apollo: *thinks: This is not good...*
Teacher: It would seem that things are still complicated here. We will continue tomorrow once both sides get their evidence situated. Before I commence that, June May will be arrested for the crime of using a wiretap.
Phoenix: *thinks: Eh... Still we haven't got to the main goal yet...*
